Howdy Bill, I'm connecting to my VM using the address *myname*.cloudadd.net. >From what you say then I hope that the IP will be released when I shutdown but a new one might be assigned on next start *and* the DNS will continue to work and keep the name valid. I'm not using the VM for a while, so I'll just try it all out. Surely no one could design a system that would break or "lose" a VM just because you shut it down!
