Dear List-ners
We have not suctioned babies routinely since 1989. I did do a little
study way back then to demonstrate we did no harm by not suctioning
(felt I had to prove my point). Obstetricians will find it hard to
argue with the powerfully useful "Effective Care" so stick to your guns
- the babies, women and midwives will thank you for it!
