Thanks Elizabeth, that was really interesting - bit disappointed to hear
that all my Kegelling isn't doing what it orta :-(
Regarding the female Ob-Gyns opting for El C/S - I don't blame them. If the
only births I had seen (and they see plenty!) all involve women with no
dignity, screaming for an epidural, then having to use instumental delivery
for the baby, but more especially inside a particularly sensitive part of
my anatomy, I would think that I don't want to 'lose face' like that in
front of anyone too - particularly nurses/midwives I want to give me the
respect I so rightly deserve :-)
Perhaps we should be inviting the medical profession in as observers to
more normal births - they really do get a one sided view of birthing.
