INTERNATIONAL MIDWIVES DAY 5th MAY 2000

Hi All,   Perhaps we could harness all the "fire in the bellies" for a project that honours something that we could all support:-   PROMOTING MIDWIVES ON INTERNATIONAL MIDWIVES DAY 5th MAY 2000.   As I have posted a few times, NSWMA is co-ordinating IMD 2000 for ACMI next year. (Thanks to those that have replied already)   We are looking for ideas, representatives from each state/branch/group, volunteers, donations, sponsorships, advertisers, whatever help we can get.   The timeframe is tight and we need to decide by end of October what products we will use this year in the IMD packs as well as other promotional items.    It would be great to have promotional t-shirts that everyone could wear on IMD 200 across Australia, especially in the maternity units/birth centers etc.   We would like to have flyers sent to all maternity units across Australia as well as in ACMI journal and branch newsletters for Christmas.  Can someone from each state help us to get contact details for all the managers of maternity units so we can target them with our flyers for IMD 2000?   We plan to have the promotional products ready by December in order to post early in the New Year.    If you can't help in person or with products, perhaps you could send in donations $5, $10, $20 or as much as you can manage.
