Sorry if I was vague. I am a midwife and have worked in birth centres for
the last 8 years. I have attended homebirths as an independent midwife and
my last two births were at home. I am currently the midwifery research
fellow at the Women's and Children's hospital here in Adelaide and am
undertaking a full time PhD in midwifery through Flinders Uni.I am looking
at constructions of fear in relation to birthing women, utilising a feminist
poststructuralist methodology. I was just interested in what people on the
list have to say. Does this help?
