This advice was given to a mother, and the person
who gave her this advice contacted me and said they didn't feel it was
unreasonable to suggest this. Some gentle and diplomatic communication was
necessary, and I hope the advice won't be given again. You are right Denise - no
understanding of the physiology of breastmilk....

understand about the physiological make up of breast milk like those who
swab mastitic breasts.
At ABA conference presentation on b/f in art
there was a cartoon of boiling the breast - taking sterilisation too far
perhaps this is related?
