Is there any 'protocols' for debriefing women after cs?

Jo, I remember a huge discussion on the list some time ago Re: Debriefing following operative birth, so I had a quick look back at the list archives. If you search the archives with the keyword 'debriefing' you will get much of what your after.

This article from the BMJ (BMJ 2000;321:1043-1047 ( 28 October )) looks at the 'effectiveness' of 'midwife-led' debriefing following operative birth in reducing PND. I think you will find the results very interesting indeed !!!!!! Much of the list disscussion surrounding 'debriefing' arose from this research.
