Congratulations Joy on a balanced and realistic response. It's wonderful to hear the ANF is supporting the midwifery model proposal to your Health Dept. It seems like a dream now, but we all know it's the RIGHT way to go. So lets keep dreaming and working towards an Australia-wide community based midwifery service for birthing women. Regards, Lois Wattis (Community Midwifery Program WA)
