Hello to everyone, I'm a midwife currently setting myself up in independent practise. I'm conducting a survey of what midwives charge as the second midwife at a birth. I have contacted a number of independent midwives privately but if I haven't contacted you personally and you would be willing to share your fee structure with me, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking at what you would charge for antenatal/postnatal visits conducted on behalf of the primary midwife, attending the birth planning meeting, being 'on call', travel and attending the birth itself as the second midwife.
