Title: Re: on the soap box again!
think I have said it on the list before, but I believe that the right to chose a cs for no medical reason then it should be classed as cosmetic and thus be fully paid for by the woman.

I agree totally, Jo. How can it not be ‘cosmetic’ to be protecting a woman’s vagina from the ravages of natural birth? I know of a friend who is being made to wait for knee surgery because it is considered ‘cosmetic’. Go figure, hey? She has been on crutches for a year. I just can’t truly understand this current system.

Social elective c/sections are cosmetic. Does anyone not agree???

Too many Gods;
            so many creeds,
            Too many paths
             that wind and
                 wind,
            When just the art
             of being kind
             Is all the sad
              world needs...
