I have been having trouble with my computer and after three weeks without it have just bought a new one which once I learn to drive it will be OK. Just when you get really confident with how everything runs they die and you have to upgrade to a new program that is nothing like the original. Oh the joys of it.
A reminder to anyone keeping their client files or anything else on computer to have a good back up system and use it because trying to retrieve them from a damaged hard disk or losing them is no picnic. I have been approached by a woman who is moving to Port Macquarie and is looking for a midwife. She is planning a hospital birth at this stage but would is interested in having her own midwife with her. Any takers as she is moving up there in the next week or so I'm so disappointed to have missed the HBA conference but I have beautiful birthing to attend on Saturday night. Spontaneous onset of labour at 42 weeks in my first repeat client. My next excitement is my first client who is planning a home birth is due this friday and I'm not sure who is more excited, me or her. I'll let you know how we go.
