I agree that the concept is the same, but I'm talking about situations where every conceivable position has been adopted by mother to no avail, over many hours. These would include bum in the air, one leg up or down, walking, talking, stairs etc etc with no budging of the baby at all. In these cases it's not just the anterior lip that's holding baby up ... I fully believe that they are 'caught' on the pelvic brim.
