Dear Lois, As you know, Weds is my office day. I will have to
see how it pans out as I will also have the possibility of births and /or
postnatals for 3 women. I would love to come... we'll see! Today I
spent some time with Senator Ruth Webber (Amy Bachrach now works for
her.) She is a labour senator, newly elected and is going to be in
canberra weds for the medical Indemnity talks. she will ask some
questions and put forward the point of view that whatever is ok for the
Doctors is also ok for the Midwives. a new ally in the field. Amy
will work on her and point her in the right direction. She has already
