Position No. 27021 We are seeking an enthusiastic Midwife to provide a one-to-one midwifery model of care within the framework of The Canberra Midwifery Program. Midwives with homebirth experience would be encouraged to apply as there is a possibility of this service expanding to incorporate homebirth. The successful applicant should be committed to an holistic model of care with the capacity to work autonomously within a variety of settings. Eligibility Requirements: Eligible for registration as a Midwife with the A.C.T. Nurses' Registration Board. Recent comprehensive experience in holistic midwifery practice including extensive experience in labour/birthing practice. Current Driver's licence.
