hi list..thanx to those who welcomed me.. i work in a small town with approx. 15o-200 births per year.. not much opportunity for caseload practice here although we are making noises to stir up the gp's and loosen the stranglehold on maternity care they have.. we are making small advances..(providing antenatal care for a start).. i will be attending the ACMI conference "From here to maternity" in Adelaide..hope to see a good turn out ..p.s. just to stir up things a little.. our resident anaethetist wants all women in labour weighed on admission just in case they end up in theatre.. talk about having faith!!
