Thanks, Jenny   Jenny Parratt Independent Midwife Consultant PO Mandurang Vic 3551 Australia 0409 393073 [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: Trent & Rebecca Thomason [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, 19 September 2002 10:01 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Midwives in USA Jenny,   Regarding our phone conversation earlier today, Dr. Chris Sasse has advised me to contact you regarding my trip to the USA.   We leave on November 22 and arrive home on January 3.  I will be travelling between 28 and 34 weeks pregnant.  Dr Sasse would like for me to have 1-2 check up visits with a Midwife or OBGYN.  My inquiries so far seem to come up with the conclusion that this would not be covered under travel insurance.  We have no private health insurance, and although obviously we do not want to compromise the baby’s or my health, we also do not have hundreds of US dollars to spend on OBGYN visits.  We will be staying in Long Beach, California most of the time.  This is on the border of  LosAngeles and Orange Counties in Southern California.  Do you know of anyone who may be able to help us or an organization we may be able to contact?   Your time and assistance is very much appreciated.  Thank you.   Rebecca Thomason.
