I so agree with you - your 1st 2 sentences largely describes my personal
experience with them too - and it's partly why I'm contacting the list,
because brand new parenthood can be a time of such insecurities, when one's
former convictions and ideas can be tested as you confront the
life-changing, all-consuming and sometimes isolating circumstances of caring
for your first newborn - and particularly so for SIL & my brother after the
caesar.  One thing Cate said about the birth was, "The last thing I ever
expected was a caesar..." and I strongly suspect her pre-birth confidence
may have crumbled a little, so am looking to support her with good info and
informed opinion etc.
