I'm in Mildura, which is approx 2hours from Swan Hill. I work at the Mildura Aboriginal Health Service and offer a flexible midwifery model of care to anyone who walks through the door. I provide free antenatal care from within the client's home (or from the Health Service) and intrapartum support/care whenever requested by my clients, but Swan Hill is too far for me to travel, as it would make me unavailable to my other clients. I havent heard of any independent midwives in Swan Hill.
