In the midst of the course, I've happened upon a few non-practising
midwives who talked about how much they loved mid, but gave it up because of
not being satisfied with the current maternity system & said if there was
the provision for something like caseload where they could work in true
partnership with a known woman, they'd come back in a heartbeat.
