Hi,
Can you not just put a condom over the doppler when using it with water?
I'm not sure what doppler you have, but I have used this method before with good results.

Subject: [ozmidwifery] doppler

Hello all
I have a question. I've been given a minidop ES-100VX doppler by an appreciative mother (aren't I lucky). I know this has been discussed before. The problem is that it is not water-proof. When I rang Andrew from Cottman Surgical Supplies he said this brand don't make a water proof version. He will take this one back if I want to return it. The mum who gave it to me has requested that I look for a water-proof doppler as she is planning on having a waterbirth next time.
Any suggestions where I might get a reasonably priced water-proof doppler.
Thanks Rosemary
