Hello all
I have a question. I've been given a minidop ES-100VX doppler by an appreciative mother (aren't I lucky). I know this has been discussed before. The problem is that it is not water-proof. When I rang Andrew from Cottman Surgical Supplies he said this brand don't make a water proof version. He will take this one back if I want to return it. The mum who gave it to me has requested that I look for a water-proof doppler as she is planning on having a waterbirth next time.
Any suggestions where I might get a reasonably priced water-proof doppler.
Thanks Rosemary

Hi Rosemary
If you are going to the ACMI Bienniel in Darwin next month there will no doubt be a plethora of waterproof dopplers on display.  If you can find another midwife who wants to purchase one the two of you should be able to negotiate a significant discount.
Contact Meryl Hammond, ASIM’s new NT representative (see Members Directory for her contact details). Meryl should have a good idea of which companies will be displaying dopplers at the Conference.
If you are not attending, get someone else to visit the doppler displays and bring back all the literature for you.

Cheers
Jan
