I spoke to Barb Vernon at ACMI this afternoon and she is right onto this. There is a meeting with Simon Crean in 2 weeks and she is martially the arguments around these costings already.
She also told me she had given an interview for the Australian who are to run a piece this wekeend. Along the lines of "these poor obstetricinas just trying to do their best and all they get is higher insurance premiums and no thsnks...!!!" Get your pens ready to write to the Letters editors on this one!
