Hi Danielle What would be your objective in doing the ALSO course? The content of the ALSO course relates to dealing with pregnancy, birth and neonatal emergencies and is very Americanised. It doesn't really relate to birth options. You would be far better off visiting Birth International and checking out all the educational resources available to you there. The staff there can also tell you where the empowering birth and parenting classes are being held in your area.
I'm also happy to talk to you about natural birth options over the phone. I can put you in touch with one of the Sydney branches of the Maternity Coalition, or one of the homebirth support groups operating in the area.
