To those who responded to
my message,
I have looked up
some of the journal acticles suggested and did some research myself. I
have decided that when I go back to work in a couple of days I will pass this
information onto the woman and also give her advice on contacting our local
continance nurse who happens to be a midwife. I may even be able to
contact her to see if she will will able to visit the women while she is still
in the hospital as she comes up and talks to women at our ante-natal and
midwives clinic's. After the birth the another day I was able to talk to
the woman and relay onto her what a great job she did and make her feel good and
positive about her birthing experience. So I hope with all this that she
goes into her next birth (if she ever has one) informed and able to make the
right decision that she is comfortable with.
