I have just checked out the Australian Broadcasting Authority - and you apparently can only complain to them, IF you have already complained to the television station and not been happy with their response/or not received a response... OR you can complain direct to the ABA if it concerns a no. of matters such as: tobacco smoking, political material etc etc AND " advertisements about medicine" (!!!!). You can print off a complaints form from their website (I am personally sending a letter - as I can't print off my computer - long story!). You apparently need a copy of complaint to the station; a copy of the station's reply (if this has been received) and any other relevant correspondense between you and the staion. The contact details are: Assistant manager Investigations Section Australian Broadcasting Authority PO Box Q500 Queen Victoria Building Sydney NSW 1230
fax. 029 334 7799 email [EMAIL PROTECTED] I hope all will be able to take the time to write a letter on this - especially those few who actually received a reply - which was also quite offensive in itself ie the line that if someone was to recall the experience of a natural birth it would come across cold and unappealing as well??
