I have the same response when people say i am brave having a homebirth. And I love telling my story to people in the hope that it may open their hearts to other possibilities. I do believe though that whatever people believe to be true, is perfectly true and right for them - as homebirthing was for me. And if a simple conversation about my birth can provide information to someone else so they are able to make a more informed choice...so be it.
