Okay, I supported the rally on Thursday, but I have not enjoyed the aftermath. Worked pm on Thursday and fielded many phone calls from clients concerned that the birth centre was closing. Today I did clinic and EVERYONE asked if the centre was closing. I didn't hear the news story, but did catch Statewide. Could we please be a little more specific about what we are protesting about and prevent women and their families worrying themselves unnecessarily. Yes I have explained it all, and encouraged them to write to MP's etc, but the calls have been numerous and I haven't really got time in clinic to discuss it .
