Judy, I guess one of the main points about the research is that we
have to wait until the baby IS ready. The interuption to weigh the baby
etc is still an unnecessary interuption as far as the welfare of the baby is
concerned. No criticism. I totally understand the time restrictions of the
hospital..getting everything done etc. It just means that more
effort has to be made to let the baby have that uninterupted skin 2 skin time
until it is ready to feed. Maybe get everything else done &
then the weight etc last thing before Mum goes off to the P/N ward.
