Hi everyone,
I have been a member of this list for a few weeks and though I should introduce myself to you all. My name is Tanya Drumm and I live in Hobart, Tas. I am currently a 1st year external Bachelor of Midwifery student with Uni of SA, married with 2 beautiful children and have just started my two follow thrus with a lovely lady who is in her early stages of pregnancy (I must say I am a little nervous about how I will be treated/accepted).
I am a little worried about how I will be accepted when doing pracs and follow thrus in Hobart (as well as finding 30 ladies who want me to be part of their journey) as I have heard from quite a few people that I am doing the wrong thing (by doing BMid instead of BNursing then Midwifery), but am prepared to fight my case if I need too. I am really enjoying being a part of this list and would gladly appreciate any advice any of you can offer.
