Not sure if this is relevant to pregnancy restless legs -I discovered this long after my pregnancies -I am affected by salicylates, naturally occuring chemicals in otherwise healthy foods (see Fed Up By Sue Dengate review at my website www.pinky-mychild.com). As I started to moderate my kids diets I also noticed the effects salicylates have on me - when I eat grapes for instance ( a plateful to snack on when I am at the computer), I have the concentration of an ant! When I binge on oranges this results in very restless legs at night - it was an amazing discovery and very easily remedied - I stopped binging on oranges and my legs stopped "jumping"!.

Hi Bec,

Homeopathy can be really helpful for restless leg syndrome. Definitely
worth trying

hi everyone,
my name's bec, I'm a student midwife. One of my friends is pregnant and
she has
what I think is called restless leg syndrome. She says it feels like ants
are crawling
over her legs all the time and it's driving her crazy! I have not really
come across this
too much and I haven't heard of any ideas of what may help relieve this
for her. I think
her midwife suggested maternity stockings may help, any more ideas anyone?
Thanks in anticipation,
bec king :)
