That news story was on channel 7 melbourne tonight and it is such
biased reporting because it made it sound as if women who dare to let
their pregnancy go beyond 39 weeks are playing russian roulette with
their babies lives. It also made it sound as if it was only dollars
that would stop all hospitals from implementing routine induction
immediately. It of course made no mention of the risks of induction to
mothers or babies.
Frustrating as ever and I send out a prayer for all the care givers
doctors and midwives that this week will be asked to explain to scared
women why they dont want to follow this newsworthy story.
