My son was the same , waking every 45 minutes all night to have the dummy put back in. We decided to go cold turkey on the dummy one morning and although we had a bad day that night he slept from 6.30pm until 3.30am. Now if he wakes at night and has a feed he will just grizzle until he puts himself to sleep.( he was 41/2 months when we took the dummy away and he is now 7 months ). Once we did that he was no longer tied during the day and actually breastfeed better. Good Luck I know what it feels like.

I can't see it being that easy for us... but you never know!

Thanks :)
