Who is imposing this rule? Surgeon? Anesthetist? Was any reason given for 
needing her to wean and then wait so long after, is there some hormonal issue? 
Has she sought a second opinion yet, that would be the first step I would think 
to take. And then maybe a third opinion. It's amazing what different opinions 
you can get from two specialists in the same field.
