Quick correction, you can only select one site collection at a time. But you are also able to see what groups are being used to apply individual settings, view group memberships etc.

Just select the site collection(s), enter the Windows user and click Start. [cid:[email protected]] The application is not free but you can request a free demo. I've been reviewing it and found this component particularly useful. They also have a backup/restore solution and resell through SQL Tools in Australia.
