Re-Installation may not help. What version of .NET are you developing against? I'm currently developing in x64 win server 2003. Please check in GAC and see if search DLL is there if not then may be you will need to reinstall MOSS. I created a simple web project in visual studio and reference Microsoft.SharePoint.Publishing. But when I run the applicaiton I got "System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Server.Search, Version=12.0.0.0". I tried all different setting of the Platform Target but still gets error. The IIS is version 6, and works fine in console application. Anyone has same problem?
