Windows Server has more restrictions on internet access. Is he using 2003 as well? Perhaps compare security settings.

When I select some of the documents and try to check them out I get the following message. I am using IE 7.1 and Windows 2003. [cid:[email protected]] No matter whether I tick the box or not and then press OK – I get the following error [cid:[email protected]] But when my colleague trys to check out, there is no popup, no question, just a check out of the file and all is good. NB that it is checked in when we try this and that no one has it checked out. However it appears to be machine related – If I sign onto the Intranet on my colleagues machine I can check out the same document without any issue. If he logs onto my machine he gets the messages and is not able to check out. Any ideas???
