Hi All,

Has anyone here used AvePoint DocAve 4.5 for migrating from 2003 -> 2007?
I've installed the latest version of the client agent on a 64bit Win2k8
machine, configured it and tested the TCP connection between the server and
the client - all good.

When I enter the migration section of the server software, I can choose
Migrate from backup, I can then choose the target agent (the one which I
installed the client agent on). But whenever I click on it to 'choose the
destination' (or basically, expand it) - it just hangs. Eventually it comes
back (120 seconds later) with a 'browse operation timed out'.

I turned on 'debug' level tracing, and managed to get a call stack out of
it, as well as the generic error:

 (the first, generic timeout error):
 --Erroring: id[3439_1234421027821]
message[com.avepoint.docave.sp.service.ServiceException: Back end
error:Failed to process the browse request, the browse process timed out.]

The second error, more detailed:
Method execution failed: com.avepoint.docave.sp.service.ServiceException:
Back end error:Failed to process the browse request, the browse process
timed out. at

It's written in Java - can you believe that? That just seems so bizzare to
me,...:)

Thanks!
