Yeah, I think that's part of the problem. It's possible we may need to remove the server through CA first and then try again.

Lots of detaching and reattaching databases. So far so good. Where we've got stuck is with CA settings for things like Outgoing Mail Settings. Any changes we make are simply not being restored. Are these settings stored somewhere else perhaps?
