Yeah I had a look at the Microsoft one and wasn't impressed at all.
The way I was thinking is pretty rudimentary, but it will be better at least. I was going to create a separate calendar for every car, so it's a booking calendar for that specific car. This system would be great...but for someone that just wants to find which cars are free it would be a hassle clicking through all the calendars to see what was free. Thus, I thought I might be able to make some kind of query tool to solve that problem that you put in the date / time you want a car and it will return all cars/calendars that don't have bookings in that period.
