I'm having problems doing this.
I've setup the scope and made it available in the site collection. I than edit the core results webpart and in the Miscellaneous section under scope I enter in the scope name however it is still showing results from other site collections. I've confirmed that the scope is setup correctly and only has a limited number of indexed items. Is there anything I'm missing? It's 2007. If I modify the search box webpart I have a "Scopes Dropdown" option but I can't see anywhere to actually limit the scope? We have to be specific these days. J In 2007 you can set a custom scope to the search box or search results web part. How do I limit the site to only search within the scope I just created? I can't find the option anywhere.
