Looks great.  Lucky it isn't 1832 or I would probably be dead already and
not able to give feedback.

Maybe when you hover over a circle it could give some feedback that it can be
clicked, eg a hand cursor or highlight.   I didn't realise I could
click something until I tried.

I suppose you could easily add an option to zoom, which might be good if
plotting a lot of points.  Otherwise it might be hard to find the right
circle to click on.

>Dear List, I am looking for some feedback on my current spare time
project, which is starting to get to the point that I can show it to
people... This is a data visualisation project based on the work done by
Hans Rosling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Rosling) and the people at
GapMinder.org. You can see Hans present on (the flash version of) the
chart at
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/hans_rosling_reveals_new_insights_on_poverty.html.
My Silverlight version of the chart can be seen at
http://www.eshiftlog.com/Silverlight/MotionGraphTestPage.html. I stress
that this is still a work in progress, so I am not looking for bug reports; I
am more looking for statements like “it would be real cool if you did xyz with
the chart”.  OK if you see a real blunder let me know :-). Please
feel free to send me specific suggestions off the list to my email at
[email protected] and more generic messages that would benefit all of us
on
the list. Because the concept being presented is complex, I am thinking
that the next task is to add an audio track to explain the chart to the
viewer. By the way, a big thank-you to all of the people who have given me
feedback to date, it has been really helpful! All the bestGreg
