The step that we forget while we were trying to limit the list to "[Project]\Contributors" and "[Project]\Project Administrators" was the windows group that was in the "[Project]\Contributors", we had "Domain Users". When we changed this to the right set of users it was ok. The problem is that the Assigned To pick list/drop down has all members of the domain in it, including service accounts etc. I only want the parameter to include those members of the specific project. The reporting in itself will only display those that are part of the project (including people that has left, which is vital) so I'm not too concerned about that. The BA's has come back with a request that I limit the options in the Assigned To parameter pick list - hence me attempting to get this done. TFS keeps a history of users that has been on the project, forever (I believ that's true), and it doesn't rely on AD for the user details once they've been added. So it does indeed look like I'll have to pick the data out of a dataset in order to do this. The "Work Items" report that comes standard with the Agile templates does it that way - had hoped there'd have been an easier (or smarter) way to do this. Thanks anyways guys - appreciated. Also, found some solutions that pointed at changing the WIT template and create a new one - this could them include the changes Wes mentioned (or so I believe - again, I've customised TFS before but obviously have gotten a bit rusty).
