Hi Deepak,

Well, first of all the scheduler service is responsible for launching the
warehouse updates on schedule, as long as the service is stopped no updates
will occur in the warehouse.

As for the time taken by the warehouse to update, it surely depends on the
data but it will not take that much of time, so I'd say weekend is more than
enough. I rebuilt our cube once and it hold data for almost 2 years and it
didn't take a day of running.
