All our TFS machines have been bugging me with this error for a while. Today I got a chance to play with a clean install (just putting together a new build server) and noticed that I am getting this error: Event Type: Information Event Source: Application Popup Event Category: None Event ID: 26 Date: 10/08/2009 Time: 4:04:12 PM User: N/A Computer: [Server Name Here] Description: Application popup: Service Control Manager : At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details. The only software installed on the machine are Windows Server 2003, Visual Studio 2008 and SP1 for Visual Studio 2008. When I restart the machine, I get this error, but there are no errors or warnings in the event log (apart from this one.) Any ideas?
