Ideally I think we should strive to have one tool (maybe with multiple apps and 
front end (UI and CLI)) that takes care of everything. Having to go around 
shopping for tools with almost similar features is not ideal for users.

The p2 admin tool use to have some of these features but it decayed and I'm not 
sure what the state it is in now.

If anyone is interested in putting that back into a working shape (or discard 
it), I'm happy to help, and we can even create a new git repo to allow more 
people to work on this.
