I don't know how it works, but all it will accomplish is pushing bittorrent sharing down into darknets. For any action there is a reaction and all that.Not to mention making lots of money for usenet providers. The darknet thing's gotta happen sooner or later because promiscuously sharing files with random people is just not a good idea in a world full of bad guys like the RIAA, MPAA, and Microsoft-funded Russian startups. -Sean
This is why we are improving our blacklists and trust models. I think BitTorrent is an ideal testing field for a karma based economy.
