CALL FOR CONTRIBUATIONS IEEE P2PWS 2009
The 2nd IEEE International Workshop On
                                           Peer-to-Peer Web Services

                        http://faculty.kfupm.edu.sa/ICS/helmy/P2PWS09/index.htm
In conjunction with the 10th International IEEE High Performance
Computing and Communications
Korea University, Seoul, Korea, June 25-27 2009
======================================================================
SCOPE
Peer-to-peer (P2P) and Web Services (WS) technologies are currently attracting
enormous
media attention. In P2P systems a very large number of autonomous computing
nodes
(the peers) pool together their resources and rely on each other for data and
services.
We wish to organize a workshop to address the need for P2P technologies and
platforms
that support self-organization of WS, semantic WS, load balance, routing, etc.
The P2PWS workshop provides a forum for researchers and practitioners from
academic,
industrial, public and government sectors, to share their latest innovations on
the P2P
computing, Web services technologies and applications. The workshop will be
advertised
through mailing lists interested in P2P and WS fields in order to ensure that a
wide
range of authors will participate.

Area of interest include, but not limited to:

- Services composition in P2P Web services networks
- Data placement and query answering in P2P systems
- Transaction management for P2P Web services
- Autonomous peers and semantic Web
- Self-organization and emergent behavior in P2P systems
- Resource allocation in P2P systems and Web services
- Scalability, coordination, robustness and adaptability in P2P and Web services
- Autonomic Web Services in P2P systems
- Mobile Web Services
