I do have a bug active against the openni package, though, as well as another package which they maintain. Neither have any response from the maintainer as of today (I'm not trying to call them out on it or anything; it hasn't been all that long). I should mention, though, that OpenNI2 has been around for about a year now. As soon as I needed it, I made a package assuming that Fedora would have an official one soon, but this is obviously not the case.
