In this case we get only one copy of documentation files from sub-package. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:LicensingGuidelines#Subpackage_Licensing So, when any of layla-*-fonts sub-package we install, as we have written Requires: %{name}-common = %{version}-%{release} layla-common will also get installed which will give us documentation files.
