--- Comment #12 from Andrew J. Schorr <[email protected]> ---
I am removing some obsolete references to GAWK and the old GPL v2 license in
xml_puller.h and xml_puller.c. I have also created a simple man page xmlgawk.1.

I see one other issue when I run licensecheck. The file encoding.h is
using the Perl license. More specifically, the header says:

/*****************************************************************
** encoding.h
**
** Copyright 1998 Clark Cooper
** All rights reserved.
**
** This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or
** modify it under the same terms as Perl itself.
*/

As far as I can tell, the Perl license is compatible with GPL:

https://dev.perl.org/licenses/

It is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms
of either:

a) the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation;
either version 1, or (at your option) any later version, or

b) the "Artistic License".

So is this OK as is?
